Guideline for Upgradation of Merit of Scheduled Caste Students

The main objective of the scheme is to upgrade the merit of Scheduled Caste students by providing them with facilities for all round development through education in residential/non-residential schools.

Guideline for Post Matric BC

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Backward Caste Students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

Guideline for Pre-Matric Scholarships to the Other Backward Classes

Scholarship award will be sanctioned in the case of OBC student whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/-per annum.

Scholarship at Pre-Matric level is given to encourage parents to send their school going children to schools, lighten their financial burden and ultimately empowering them through education.

Guideline for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority Communities

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarship to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities.

Guideline for National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)

Under this scheme, it is proposed to award 10,000 scholarships to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources.

The aim of this scheme is to inculcate the spirit of competition among Scheduled Castes students in the field of sports. Keeping this in view, this scheme was started during the year 1990-91.
