The object of the scheme is to provide financial assistance for the upliftment of the Scheduled Caste girl students studying in post-matric and post-graduate classes.

This scheme was introduced from the year 1992-93 as district level scheme on Plan Side. But from the year 2008-09 this scheme has been transferred to State Plan Sector.

The aim of the scheme is to make the Scheduled Caste women and girls and boys trained in the technical trades and to enable them to supplement the income of their families to make them self employed and awakening them for a respectable living.

The aim of this scheme is to inculcate the spirit of competition among Scheduled Castes students in the field of sports. Keeping this in view, this scheme was started during the year 1990-91.

The object of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Denotified Tribes (Vimukat Jaties) students for studying at School/College level.

Under this scheme, Scheduled Castes students studying from 6th to 12th classes are awarded Rs.100/-P.M. per student who secure 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions amongst educational block.
