The Punjab Government has decided to leave summer in all the government / private aided and accredited schools of the state as per the following year 2019. (30 days)
It is hereby notified that the holidays enumerated in the schedule below shall be observed as Public Holidays in the public offices under the Punjab Government during the Calendar Year 2019.
1. Sundays, 2nd & 4th Saturdays, Gazetted and Local holidays are shown in Red Colour. Summer Vacation is shown in Red Colour Box. 2. Court Working Saturdays are shown in Blue Colour Box.
the Governor of Punjab is pleased to fix Friday, falling on 7th December,2018 to be a ‘closed day’ for the employees working in Shops and Commercial Establishments
The employees who are the voters of Rajasthan State but Working in Punjab Government. They will be given special leave to submit their voter card to the competent authority.
Each employee will also be permitted to avail himself/herself any Five (5 holidays to be chosen by him/her out of the Restricted Holidays below during the Calendar Year-2018.
In the event of Id-u’l-Fitr or Eid-u’l-Zuha (Bakrid) falling on a Court Working day, due to any change in date on account of visibility of Moon, that day will be declared a holiday.
The High Court shall remain closed for Summer Vacation from 6th June, 2016 to 2nd July, 2016 (both days inclusive) and for Winter break from 26th December, 2016 to 31st December, 2016.
