No. G.S.R.22/Const./Art. 309/Amd.(l)/2012.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab State Civil Services (Appointment by Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2009, namely :—

RULES

(1) These rules may be called the Punjab State Civil Services (Appointment by Combined Competitive Examination) (First Amendment) Rules, 2012.

(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Punjab State Civil Services (Appointment by Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2009, for rule 3, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

“3. Appointment to the services.—Appointment to the services, specified in the Schedule, shall be made through the Combined Competitive Examination (hereinafter in short called as the Examination) to be held by the Commission, as per the table given below, which will be strictly followed by each authority :
