I am working as typist in Sant Longowal Institute of Engg. & Tech., Longowal(established by govt. of India)Sir, I am suffering from hearing disability(permanent 47%) and I have applied for Income tax rebate and double transport allownce but no response has so been received till date as my requests given to D.R.(Admn.) are Vide my letter no.Dean(R&C)/1973, dated 12/02/2014, L.No.523 to 523 to 524 dated 27/11/15, L.No. 564 dated 18/15/15 . However the requests follow by Income tax officer and rebate sent in my account but my department ignored the same as they are saying you can get rebate from income tax department. However Sir, I take hearing aid about Rs.50,000/- and reimbursed the same but the tax Rs.5000/- has deducted by the D.R.(Accounts) on my hearing aid. Sir, I and person(dealing hand of the handling the disability cases) from the administration section may be called for hearing the same.
