Department of Governance Reforms deals with Governance Reforms, e-Governance, management of State Data Centre, Administrative Reforms, Punjab Right to Information and Punjab Right to Service Act.

The functions of the Governance Reforms Monitoring Unit (GRMU) will be: Day-to-day monitoring of disposal of applications received in respect of services notified under RTS Act, 2011/Web-Suwidha.
