ORDER
A Governance Reforms Monitoring Unit (GRMU) is hereby constituted, as under, for all matters relating to Governance Reforms initiatives and services notified under Right to Service Act, 2011 (RTS 2011):
a) Sh. Parveen Garg, SSM, DGR
b) Research Assistant (To be engaged through outsourcing basis under Implementation Monitoring Unit- IMU for Governance Reforms)
c) District Technical Coordinator to be nominated by Director Governance Reforms)
d) Sh. Jatin Gupta Consultant (Technology Management), SeMT
e) Sh. Vivek Kohli, Senior Assistant, RTI Cell
f) IT Assistant, RTI Cell
2. The functions of this Unit will be as under:
a) Day-to-day monitoring of disposal of applications received in respect of services notified under RTS Act, 2011.
b) Day-to-day monitoring of disposal of applications received in respect of services notified under Web-Suwidha.
c) Harmonize the smooth and effective delivery of services notified under RTS Act 2011 and Web-Suwidha.
d) Coordinate with all districts, other deemed districts for collecting and collating the information pertaining to service requests and pendency under RTS/ Web-Suwidha.
e) Conducting meetings of PSGR and DGR for RTS & Web-Suwidha purposes.
f) Follow up of decisions taken in the meetings held by CS, PSGR, and DGR.
g) Coordinate with concerned departments for implementing the recommendations made by Punjab Governance Reforms Commission (PGRC) and High Powered Committee on Governance Reforms headed by Hon’ble Dy CM, Punjab.
3. The overall responsibility in these matters will be that of the office of DGR through Sh. Parveen Garg, SSM.
