Subject: Teacher Transfer Policy-2019
In continuation of the notification of Government of Punjab Notification No 11/35/2018-ledu6/1508858, dated 25.06.2019, the following amendments are made in the said policy:-
1.0 The para no 6(1) of the notification is amended as below:
“Decision of allotment to a vacancy shall be based on the total composite score of points earned by a teacher, out of 255 points as described below. The teacher earning highest points shall be entitled to be transferred against particular vacancy.”
2.0 Following is added to para no 6 (III)(b) of the notification:

| 8 | Newly married female teachers | 5 | 5 points will be given to newly married female teachers. |
Note: Newly married female teachers means the female who got married during the last one year from the date of notification of the Transfer Policy ie 25.06.2019.
3.0 The para 11(II) of the notification is amended as below:
“The teachers transferred on administrative grounds will not be transferred for a period of three years and will not be transferred back to some school from where they were transferred out on administrative grounds”
