Setting up of Aerotropolis Residential Project near I.T City and Aero City Scheme

No. 6/05/2018-6HG1/1412840/1 whereas it appears to the Government of Punjab that land is likely to be required at the public expense for public purpose, namely “Setting up of Aerotropolis Residential Project near I.T City and Aero City scheme”(Pocket -D). This scheme has been planned in the Village Chau Majra, Saini Majra, Patton and Manauli of Tehsil and District S.A.S Nagar as per approved Master Plan issued vide drawing No. 1992/2008 D.T.P. (S.A.S NAGAR) Dated: 21.06.2013 and revised drawing approved vide no. 2280/2016 dated 05.12.2016 in the area of Tahsil and District S.A.S Nagar.

This Notification is made under the provisions of Section-11 “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013”. to all whom it may concern. It is to be noted that Social Impact Assessment (SIA) of the proposed scheme namely “Setting up of Aerotropolis Residential Project near  I.T. City and Aero City Scheme” carried out as per Section 4 of the Act ibid. The SIA ascertains that people are not likely to displaced. However about 63.41% Chau Majra and 61.4% Patton families are losing agricultural land. There is no major direct impact identified during SIA. The SIA has been disclosed to the people and their representative as per Section 6 of “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and resettlement Act 2013”. Government of Punjab has notified Sub Division Magistrate S.A.S Nagar as Administrator of the said project.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the aforesaid section, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to authorize the officers for the time being engages in the undertaking with their servants and workmen to enter upon and survey the land in the said locality and do all other acts required or permitted by Section 12 of “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013”.

Any person interested in and having any objection to the acquisition of any land in the said locality may, within sixty days of the publication of this notification, file an objection in writing pertaining to area and suitability of the land proposed to be acquired before the Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, S.A.S Nagar.

Plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, S.A.S Nagar.
