No. S.O.4/C.A.2/1899/S.9/2019.-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act No.2 of 1899), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to remit the duty in whole, chargeable under Schedule 1-A appended to the said Act, on the instruments of registration or lease of the land, as the case may be, by the units to whom a Certificate of Eligibility has been issued by the Competent Authority, under Chapter 10 of the Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2017 read with Chapter 8 of the Detailed Schemes and Operational Guidelines, 2018.
