Subject: -: Release of 6% instalment of Dearness Allowance / Dearness Relief to the employees and pensioners of Government of Punjab.

Sir,

I am directed to refer to this Department’s Letter No. 7/44/2015-1FP1/1599531/1 dated 21.10.2019 and to convey that the Governor of Punjab is pleased to release dearness allowance / dearness relief @ 6% to all the Employees and Pensioners of Government of Punjab thereby increasing the existing rate from 142% to 148% w.e.f. 01.03.2020 payable with the salary / pension of March 2020.

2. The decision regarding release of arrears of 6% from 01.07.2018 will be taken at later date.
