As An endeavour to make the Policy for iconic Building more practicable and acceptable, the Government of Punjab is pleased to partially amend the Policy issued vide notification No. 17/9/2016-5Hg2/821009/1 dated August 17, 2016 to the extent as given below:

1. This Policy shall be effective from date of its notification.
2. The minimum height of an iconic Building shall be 100 meters instead of 130 meters as fixed in the policy dated August 17, 2016.
3. The height of the building shall be exclusive of the height of any architectural feature, lift machine room, mumty, water tank, helipad, communication tower etc., if any.
