In supersession of Punjab Government Notification No. 1 / 12/96/STE(5)/93 dated 10.02.2014 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section 1 and 2 of Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and sub section 1 and 2 of Section 5 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-constitute the Punjab Pollution Control Board with immediate effect, consisting of the following members:-

The term of the members of the Board shall be regulated by the provisions made under sub-sections (1) of Section 5 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 except that of Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board whose term of appointment is separately regulated.
