Implementation of Minimum Wages in the State of Punjab w.e.f. 01.03.2015.
Adopting the Consumer Price Index Number of Govt. of India base 2001=100, the minimum rates of wages are enhanced provisionally for the time being by Rs. 200/- per month for monthly rated workers, Rs. 7.69 per day for daily rated workers and Rs. 0.96 per hour for hourly rated workers.
