No. G.S.R.79/P.A.1/1914/Ss.34 and 59/Amd.(40)/2018.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34 and 59 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act No. 1 of 1914), read with the Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation, Notification No. S.O.06/PA.1/1914/S.9/2017, dated the 25th April, 2017, and all other powers enabling me in this behalf, I, Vivek Pratap Singh, I.A.S., Excise Commissioner, exercising the powers of Financial Commissioner, make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Liquor Permit and Pass Rules, 1932, namely :-
RULES
1.
(1) These rules may be called the Punjab Liquor Permit and Pass (Second Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Punjab Government Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Liquor Permit and Pass Rules, 1932, the existing rule 24, shall be omitted.

I regret to inform you that my self is belongs to meerut u.p and I purchased a half bottle of liquor from GILL BROTHER KASHMIR CHOWK LUDHIANA bottle MRP is pic are attached RS.312/- the GILL BROTHER charged me 500/- I asked the invoice they refused and badly behaviour .is any law of liquor sales in PUNJAB or not ? Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
