The Punjab Legislative Assembly (Salaries and Allowances of Members) Amendment Act, 2017

(Punjab Act No. 3 of 2018)

BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Sixtyeighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.

(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Legislative Assembly (Salaries and Allowances of Members) Amendment Act, 2017.

(2) It shall come into force on and with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Insertion of section 3-AAA in Punjab Act 4 of 1942.

In the Punjab Legislative Assembly (Salaries and Allowances of Members) Act, 1942, after section 3-AA, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-

Declaration of
immovable
properties.

“3-AAA. All the Members shall declare their immovable properties on the first day of January of every calendar year.”
