Subject: – Grant of Interim relief to the employees / pensioners of the Government of Punjab.

I am directed to invite a reference to Punjab Government letter No. 6/1/95-1FP1/86-92 dated 16.2.2017 on the subject cited above and to clarify that the interim relief will be treated as pay/pension for all intents and purposes. Amount of relief will be absorbed in the pay/pension revision to be allowed by the State Government on the recommendations of the 6^th Punjab Pay Commission.
