Notification
The Government has, over the years, constructed a number of Bye-passes on State Highways, to decongest select cities. As a consequence, the bypassed parts of these Highways, passing through the cities are no more required to be State Highways. Keeping this in view, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to denotify such bypassed stretches of State Highways where Bye-passes have been built, and these would no more be considered as State Highways.
Details of the denotifed stretches of the State Highways are as under :-
- Hoshiarpur-Chandigarh road RD 0 to 1.70 (Part of Hoshiarpur City) 1.70 km
- Balachaur-Garhshanker road RD 27.45 to 32.60 (Part of Balachaur City) 5.15 km
- Moga– Kotkapura road RD 0 to 3.80 (Part of Moga City) 3.80 km
- Moga–Harike road RD 0 to 5.00 (Part of Moga City) 5.00 km
- Gagan Chowk to Liberty Chowk RD 40.60 to 41.55 & 41.70 to 45.40 (Part of Rajpura City) 4.65 km
- JCS Saviour School to Bhaironpur Sirhind Chunni Road RD 0 to 5.50 (Part of Sirhind City) 5.50 km
- Malikpur Chowk to Dalhousie By-pass RD 0 to 3.32 & 5.31 to 6.95 (Part of Pathankot City) 4.89 km
