Proposed Demand Survey for Industrial Model Township

DEMAND SURVEY FOR PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL MODEL TOWNSHIP (IMT) NEAR LADHUWAL, DISTRICT LUDHIANA.

Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (PSIDC) intends to develop an Industrial Model Township,(IMT) on about 800 Acres, near Ladhuwal, District Ludhiana having modern facilities and a Township of state of the art consisting of Industrial Plots, Residential Plots, Institutional areas for Schools, Colleges, recreation activities, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Banks, SCOs and SCFs for all types of markets. This IMT shall have a common effluent treatment plant to be operated on cost sharing basis by all the Industrialists. The red category industries shall also be allowed to be set up in this IMT and their effluent shall be treated in the common effluent treatment plant on cost share basis.

The industrial units to be set up in this IMT and shall be eligible for the benefits being offered by the State Govt. under its Fiscal Incentives for Industrial Promotion – 2013 as revised in September 2015 Policy :

1.  Retention of VAT and CST, as percentage of Fixed Capital Investment.
2.  Exemption from payment of electricity duty.
3.  Rate per Unit for new Units would be less than Rs.5/- per KW.
4.  Exemption from stamp duty.

PSIDC invites applications on plain paper or down load Performa from Punjab Govt. website viz., www.punjab.gov.in under the link “Acts, Rules and Notifications” , giving name of the Applicant, Mobile Number, E- mail and land area required (in multiples of 500 Sq.Yards) and item to be manufactured. The application should accompany the Demand Draft @ Rs.10/- per Sq. Yards of the tentative area of plot required.

Association of Industries, Chambers of Commerce and underwriters can also make applications on behalf of their members/investors in this Demand Survey. However, Underwriters, Association of Industries and Chamber of Commerce shall have to deposit this Notional Earnest Money @ Rs. 50/- per sq.yard of the tentative area of plots required to be under written by them.

This Notional Earnest Money is payable by way of Demand Draft in favour of “PSIDC LTD.”, payable at Chandigarh so as to reach the undersigned at the address given below within 30 days i.e. upto 11.07.2016 from the publication of this Notice. If adequate number of applications are not received the earnest money will be refunded without any interest within one year, otherwise the proposal will be considered as per guide-lines of Punjab Government.

Merely by participating in Demand Survey does not give any right to the applicant for allotment of the industrial plot, as these applications have been called only for the purpose of Demand Survey. However, 50% of the plots shall be reserved for the applicants at the time of final allotment, who participated in this Demand Survey.
